MEAL PLAN


Carbs - the good and the bad ;)

WHEN IT COMES TO DIETING MANY PPL DO NOT KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO - ESPECIALLY WITH A MILLION AND ONE HOLLYWOOD DIET FADS GOING ON TODAY. THIS BLOG WILL GET YOU ON THE RIGHT PATH TO EATING HEALTHY - COMBINE THIS WITH YOUR WORKOUT ROUTINE AND YOU’RE ON THE RIGHT PATH TO WEIGHT LOSS, AND REDUCING FAT =) ENJOY!
LEAN PROTEIN IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE IN EVERY MEAL:
  • FISH
  • CHICKEN WITH NO SKIN (CHICKEN BREAST)
  • LEAN BEEF
  • EGG WHITES
  • PROTEIN POWDER
  • BEANS
GOOD CARBS VS BAD CARBS: simple carbs = BAD CARBS (examples: foods that have refined sugar and flour) complex carbs = GOOD CARBS (examples; fibers, vitamins, minerals).
CARBS THAT ARE GOOD FOR YOU:
  • WHOLE GRAIN FOODS (PASTAS, CEREALS, BREADS)
  • NUTS
  • LEGUMES
  • VEGGIES
  • SEEDS
  • FRESH FRUITS
  • DAIRY PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT SWEETENED WITH SUGAR (LOW FAT YOGURTS, COTTAGE CHEESES, LOW FAT SKIM MILK)
CARBS THAT ARE BAD FOR YOU:
  • REFINED GRAINS (WHITE BREADS, WHITE RICE, ENRICHED PASTA)
  • PROCESSED FOODS (CAKES, COOKIES, CHIPS, CANDIES, SODAS)
  • SUGAR
  • WHITE POTATOES
  • HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP
IMPORTANT TO YOUR DIET: lean protein in every meal, fiber, whole grains, good carbs, REDUCE/LIMIT bad carb intake, WATER & SLEEP!
